
By students for students, the conference aims to educate attendees about Long Island’s history, connect students across districts and racial, socio-economic lines, and provide tools for students to become leaders in their schools and communities.
This year’s conference will focus on a theme of Brave Spaces: Shaping Change and Transformative Communication!
MAIN GOALS:
- Educate Long Island students about historic and ongoing structural racism on Long Island
- Connect students across district lines
- Empower students to be leaders and provide them with hands-on professional development opportunities
